National Council of the Slovak national minority, the Slovak cultural assembly of the hero called Janko Čmelík, Municipality Stara Pazova and the Cultural Institute of Vojvodina Slovaks have set out to take a step forward in the organization of this years competition called 3xĎ.
The meeting was led by the president of Organizational and Management Board Libuša Lakatošová, the members of the Board are Miroslav Fábry, Anna Lepšanovićová, Alexander Bako, Ján Makan and Libuša Lakatošová. The main change, which they plan to do to ameliorate the competition is that the contestants will be staying in Stara Pazova throughout the whole event. This would mean not only that children will be able to hang out more with each other, but also that they will have the opportunity to watch all theatre assemblies, numerous accompanying events and also learn something new within the workshops. This idea, however, will come to pass only if the performers from different parts of Vojvodina will be willing to devote the whole weekend to this event, and if the Slovaks from Stará Pazova will have the proper accommodations. The funding’s to do so do exist, the only necessity is the willpower, that we would work together for cultural education and strengthening the identity of our children, members of the Organizational and Management Board agreed.
The novelty of the competition is that this year it will be themed. On a proposal of Annamaria Boldocká Grbić, the leitmotif will be the 150th anniversary of the first preserved mentioning on the subject of performing arts for children of Vojvodina Slovaks which was by Jozef Podhradský.
