Children from Čelarevo visited Novi Sad

A fieldtrip for this group of ten students who take classes in the Slovak language with elements of folk culture was organized and realized by their teacher, Marija Kukučka Supek. At the Institute they were seen by Katarina Mosnak and Nataša Simonović. They presented the activities of this institution as well as the projects concerning cultural development of children and youth.  

On this occasion, the Cultural Institute's staff members handed the gifts to the students of the Elementary School "Zdravko Čelar", a package of Slovak books and CD-s for children. They took the opportunity to schedule a presentation of publication 'Slovaks in Serbia in Terms of Culture', that will happen this September in Čelarevo. During this presentation, the students will perform a short artistic program.

After this visit to the Institute, the young students from Čelarevo performed a theater piece held within the Evening of Novi Sad’s Local Board of the Slovak Matica and they shortly visited Zmaj’s children games, which are currently happening in Novi Sad.
