The local department of Slovak Matica from Petrovec organized for the first time in the year of 1997 a concert of classical music called The spring trill. The aim of organizers is to preserve this type of culture that Slovaks in Vojvodina nurture. Ever since, yearly many young talents show their ability on this concert.

Denotation of this festival is that many of its participators are prestigious musicians or singers. Many are winners of state or international competitions in the field of classical music.

The spring trill has had 13 annuals and it has a vision to obtain the activity level of Slovak culture in present time.
